About my librarySmall but eclectic is what I'm going for. It leans a bit heavily to science fiction, and there's a fair bit of biblical and religious stuff from my undergraduate degree. The wife buys good modern literary fiction by the cubic metre so I do read it - it's just not in my library.

What I am trying most to build (and then read) is the influential works of civilisation: the Books Which Are Important. Partly, I think we are all in some way obliged to read them, but I also like having an opinion on well-known and much-talked-about works. I guess my biblical studies degree was the start of that.
